Clean Fuels Ohio’s Senior Manager of  Federal Grants and Special Projects, Tim Cho, was featured on the “Show Me the Money” Panel at the Electric Vehicle Charging Summit & Expo in Las Vegas last month! The grants, financing, and incentives panel navigated how government, non-profit, and school customers may use funding resources most efficiently to overcome high costs of today’s EV market.

Tim was joined by Will Scherle (VP of Workforce Development at Soulful Synergy, LLC.), Zach Henkin (Director of EV Program Research at the Center for Sustainable Energy), Alex Ehrett (Public-Policy and Market Development Manager ABB E-Mobility Inc.), and Tanya Perrault (VP of Operations at Lynkwell).

As the Senior Manager of Federal Grants & Special Projects at Clean Fuels Ohio, Tim manages the day-to-day operation and success of multiple U.S. Department of Energy awards and projects that are up to $7 million in federal grant funding. From delivering federal project management reporting responsibilities to using project management tools in daily overall and specific project management, Tim organizes and runs various project scope execution across various clean energy and transportation program areas. Tim interfaces directly with clients/stakeholders, product management and development partners to prioritize and deliver valuable user experiences.

Clean Fuels Ohio is excited to welcome Lexi Petrella as Director of Development. In her new role, Lexi will support and grow CFO’s valuable network of members and champion the organization’s mission through grant research and partnership building.

Lexi joined CFO on March 21, 2023, after serving SHARE Mobility as their Government Affairs and Business Development Manager where she focused on shared mobility advocacy, community outreach, and public sector program development.

Lexi’s previous responsibilities and experience include regional mobility planning, transportation demand management planning, and stakeholder partnership management for the success of sustainable mobility initiatives and alternative transportation use at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.

Lexi also served as a Transportation Planner for VN Engineers. She studied crash data and field analyses to make design recommendations for multi-modal facilities that improve safety and livability for Connecticut road users.

Lexi graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in city and regional planning in 2017. Lexi received her master’s degree in public administration in 2021 from The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs, where she specialized in emerging transportation policy.

Clean Fuels Ohio is excited to announce the appointment of Kristy Ramey, CFO Chief of Staff, as the new Co-Director of the Clean Cities Chapter for Ohio. This chapter represents our State in the Clean Cities Coalition and is part of the National Energy Technology Laboratory housed within the US Department of Energy.

Kristy will work alongside Tim Cho, CFO Senior Manager of Federal Grants and Special Projects, in this role to create and implement coalition sustainability plans, attract and maintain active members and stakeholders, team with local fleets to encourage a transition to AFV’s, alternative fuel use, and other fuel-saving technologies, and conduct education and outreach to fleets and the general public.
