What is Drive Electric Ohio?
Drive Electric Ohio, a statewide initiative of Clean Fuels Ohio, is dedicated to advancing the adoption of electric vehicles in our state. We connect businesses, developers, and landlords to resources for installing charging stations and providing affordable and accessible charging for their networks.
We accomplish this – city by city – with the help of dedicated volunteers who organize ride and drive events and educate consumers about the advantages of electric cars. At the same time, we work to create incentives and pro-EV legislation by engaging and educating electricity providers, policymakers, and political candidates about the economic and environmental benefits of electric vehicles.
We educate public and investor-owned utilities, companies, policymakers, and candidates about the benefits of electric vehicles and work to create incentives and EV-positive legislation. Our volunteers organize ride and drive events and educate consumers about the advantages of EVs.

Drive Electric Ohio’s EFCC Project
The Equity-Focused Community Collaboration project aimed to deliver clean and equitable transportation solutions to Ohio communities impacted by transportation-related barriers. The project was designed to take a listening-first approach, and involved working closely with local organizations and community members to develop potential solutions. The first iteration of this project targeted a community in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and the Miami Valley area, but we hope to replicate this work in other communities in the future.
