Clean Fuels Ohio (CFO) is excited to announce the hiring of new associates to the team! As our projects and programs develop, we identified a need to increase capacity.
Sydney Hayes joined the team in May 2022 as a Policy and Government Affairs Coordinator. Sydney graduated from Ohio State University in May 2022 with a B.S. in Public Policy Analysis and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Before joining CFO, she worked in congressional constituent services and congressional campaigning. She will be working with the policy team to execute their policy initiatives, with a focus on working with local communities in Ohio transition to cleaner fuels by assisting them with planning, policy, and project implementation. She looks forward to combining her passions of analysis and research with expanding equity and environmental issues in her work.
The Consulting Services department welcomed two new Program Assistants, Paige Lampman and Hannah Ruscin to the team. They are both very excited about getting to know the non-profit and clean energy space and we are excited to have them on! Paige Lampman graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2022 with a B.S. in Environment and Natural Resources. Her area of focus was Environment, Economy, Development and Sustainability (EEDS) with an Environmental Economics and Policy Analysis specialization and a minor in Business Analytics. Hannah Ruscin is going into her last semester at The Ohio State University and is expected to be graduating with a B.S in Environment and Natural Resources in December 2022. Her area of focus is also Environment, Economy, Development and Sustainability with an Environmental Economics and Policy Analysis specialization. Both Hannah and Paige will be doing data quantification and analysis work with the Consulting team to assess fleet conditions around suitability for alternative fuel vehicles and/or charging station adoption.
Hannah Sturgeon was brought on as a Program Assistant to help support the Grants & Programs team. Hannah is a student at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH, and she is graduating in December 2022 with degrees in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, and Political Science. Hannah is involved in many organizations at Otterbein, including Otterbein University Student Government, Otterbein University Cardinal Corps Leaders, and the Otterbein University Board of Trustees. Prior to joining CFO, Hannah was a Sustainability Intern with the City of Westerville Electric Division.
The Business Development department is excited to have Shanvanth Arnipalli as a Program Assistant. He will be responsible for working with staff to help manage CFO’s membership program and fundraising efforts. Shanvanth is a fourth year at The Ohio State University, working on his B.S. in Environmental Science with a specialization in Water Science. His undergraduate research experience and projects are focused on Biomedical Nutrition and Developmental Psychology. Outside of school, Shanvanth is currently a student-athlete on the fencing team and a member of the Buckeye Leadership Fellows 2023 Cohort. His professional interests consist of diversity, equity, and inclusion work, sustainability, and problem-solving.
