Clean Fuels Ohio Hosts Transportation Solutions Vehicle Expo at Columbus State Community College
[COLUMBUS, OHIO, October 11—] Clean Fuels Ohio is hosting the Transportation Solutions Vehicle Expo at Columbus State Community College on October 15th. The event will run from 11:00am-4:00pm and will be held in Franklin Hall with the expo in parking lot 3E. In addition to the vehicle showcase, the expo will feature posters about various alternative fuels, Department of Energy projects Clean Fuels Ohio is coordinating, and the organization’s Certified Green Fleets program. Clean Fuels Ohio will also hold listen and learn sessions about their Consulting Services and Policy Programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to ride and drive several of the showcase vehicles, learn about Columbus State Community College and Clean Fuels Ohio workforce development initiatives, and experience Columbus’s Automotive Technology Lab, through tours sponsored by Honda Development & Manufacturing of America. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Registration is still open and will be up until the day of the event. Attendees will see vehicles from exhibitors like Ingevity, ICOM, Lion Electric, Alliance Autogas, and several Ohio based companies and fleets including and Lordstown Motors, Endera Motors, SARTA, City of Columbus, and more. This event covers a wide range of vehicle and fuel types, from hydrogen transit to all electric buses and biodiesel SUVs, from hybrid police-cruisers to natural gas trucks and propane paratransit vans. Educational posters will be provided by partners like Ohio Corn and Wheat and RNG Coalition.

We’re excited to have such a great partner in Columbus State Community College who donated their space to us and to Honda for sponsoring the tours of the Automotive Technology Lab, to help promote the opportunities afforded our current and future workforce. We’re happy to see the industry continue to move forward despite the curve-balls COVID-19 has dealt us.”
The expo will follow all COVID-19 procedures and precautions as outlined by Columbus State Community College and will require face masks to be worn indoors at all times.
