Clean Fuels Ohio dedicated the latter half of November 2020 and all of December 2020 to identify candidates for the Consulting Services Manager position, made vacant when Andrew Conley was promoted to Chief Program Officer.
The position posting was carefully crafted with support from leadership team members. It was sent to the organization’s board members, posted to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Indeed, Handshake, and emailed out to strategic industry partners for sharing both internally and externally. Clean Fuels Ohio hosted seven first round interviews, five second round interviews, and one third round interview which included the full leadership team.
Brandon Jones was identified as the top candidate and accepted the offer to join the team. Brandon possesses skills in business development, partner and stakeholder engagement, and outreach. Brandon also has experience in nonprofit fundraising, consulting, outreach, and education on renewable energy programs. The staff is excited to welcome him to the team.
Clean Fuels Ohio’s Board of Directors also confirmed the nominations of two new Board members at the February 2021 Board Meeting. The Board is pleased to welcome Carla Walker, American Cities Climate Challenge, City of Cincinnati Climate Advisor at the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC). She is passionate about clean energy, electric vehicles, and equity of opportunity for all in Ohio. The Board is also pleased to welcome Michelle Crandall, City Manager for the City of Hilliard, She is knowledgeable on vehicle fleet, CNG, electric vehicles, biodiesel, and more.
