Federal support includes a tax credit of up to 50% of the cost of developing a new and/or converting an existing station to provide B20 biodiesel, E85, natural gas, propane or other fuels. The tax credit is capped at $50,000 per facility. See the U.S. DOE's Alternative Fuels Data Center for more information. Federal grants are available for fuel dispensing facilities for compressed natural gas, propane and biofuels through the US DOE Clean Cities program.
